Starting as a Pastoral Counselor and working in pastoral ministry for over 20 years, our counselor has supported individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, suicidal ideation, addiction, anxiety, divorce, grief, teen pregnancy, abandonment, body dysmorphia, intimate partner violence, identity issues, insomnia, eating disorders, anger management, self-esteem issues, and relationship problems, among other issues and across various age groups.
Recognizing the need for additional tools to better assist his clients, he pursued a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and began his journey to become a licensed mental health professional. He currently works under the supervision of a licensed professional and engages in ongoing training to stay updated on the latest mental health theories and develop the best possible tools for supporting mental health.
While his experience with 20 years of helping individuals in the field is an asset, his greatest strength is his unwavering desire to develop new tools, and emphatically empower his clients so they know they can face whatever life throws at them. True North is our name and our purpose. We know how easy it is to get lost in life, to lose your sense of self, direction, and purpose.
"He who has a why to live can bear almost any how." - Friedrich Nietzshe
Our focus is continued education to make our clients aware of the best mental health practices, an empathetic and empowering approach that helps our clients understand themselves in a deeper way, and working with clients to help them live their best life. Our goal is to help our clients find their deepest values so they can do what matters and start the journey towards their True North.
